Line 01 · Auction marketing
Catalogue-grade brochures and email, produced on a sale schedule.
Online industrial auctions live and die on the two weeks before the sale. The work is the same every time — and that is exactly why it should be built once and generated after that.
The problem
Every sale is a new flyer. None of them are a new design.
A typical auction brochure is a masthead, a date band, a description, a grid of lot photos with tags and captions, preview details and a footer. The content changes for every sale. The layout almost never does — but rebuilding it by hand each time still burns an afternoon and invites new mistakes: a wrong day of the week, a caption that overflows, a lot tag pointing the wrong way.
The approach instead
The format is written down as a specification — page geometry, type sizes, grid gutters, tag geometry, colour, logo rules — and a generator builds the piece from that spec plus the sale's own inputs. Caption sizing is computed so every caption in the grid matches. Photos are cropped with a bias that keeps the lot tag visible. Corrections you make go back into the spec, so the same note never has to be given twice.
What ships

- Print-resolution JPG for anyone who needs an image, not a document
- Web JPG sized for email and social
- Matching email blast design, built or supplied as artwork
- Preview and contact details checked against the live listing before release
Reaching the right buyers
A flyer only works if it lands in the right inbox. We also build the send list — selecting industry codes that match what's in the sale, so an auction of wire and cable equipment goes to companies that actually buy wire and cable equipment.
An audience already in place
Signal 47 publishes The Industrial Digest, an industrial news site read by engineers, plant managers and procurement staff, with standing categories for machinery sales and industrial auctions. Sales marketed here can be placed in front of that readership directly. Most agencies rent an audience for this. This one is already built and runs every day.
